USBands Parents and Students

We all know the impact music has on the overall education of young people, and we would like to acknowledge the band parents who help to make it possible! Where would we be without these devoted individuals who serve as the motivators, the carpoolers, the rehearsal monitors and the biggest fans of their children and their hometown high school bands? USBands salutes you, the ones who help make the music possible.

Scholarship Opportunities for Your Student

USBands and our partners give back to students from schools who participate in our events by offering scholarship opportunities. USBands scholarships go to at least two students who:

  • Demonstrate magnificence in their community
  • Articulate how their involvement in music has influenced their life
  • Describe how music will continue to have an influence in their life
  • At least one scholarship is awarded to a student who will be pursuing further education in music, and another scholarship is awarded to a student pursuing any higher education. Higher education includes but is not limited to vocational training, conservatory and other college degrees.

USBands Scholarship recipients will be determined by the USBands Advisory Board and announced in November. Scholarships provided by our partners are subject to separate rules and considerations.

Marching Arts at the Next Level

Many USBands Students continue their love of the marching arts performing as members of a drum corps. There are corps based all over the country who rehearse and perform during the summer months.
