Carl has an expansive history in the marching and pageantry arts that spans over 30 years of experience as a performer, designer, instructor, administrator, adjudicator and clinician. As a visual judge for DCI, WGI and BOA, Carl travels throughout the United States participating in the highest caliber of events. Internationally, Carl had the honor of representing DCI and the United States as an adjudicator for the 2019 Indonesia Drum Corps Championships in Jakarta, Indonesia.
For the past seventeen years he has enjoyed a successful career in public safety as a Police Dispatcher for one of the largest school districts in California, the Santa Ana School District Police Department. While serving as a Police Dispatcher and Training Officer for the department he is also involved in special events and is the Tactical Dispatcher for critical incidents in the department.
In his free time, Carl enjoys spending time with his wife of 25 years, Dia, and his sons Logan and Tyler.
